About Endtimes.org

Welcome to the New Endtimes.org

The site has been redesigned and updated. The early Endtimes.org was created in the early days of the Web. The site once again is a work in progress. Some areas like the Book of Revelation need more work, and other sections have some gaps that we will be working on. There is always more to do, but in order to keep things readable, some sections have links to optional articles for a deeper dive.

Things don’t really change much in the study of the Endtimes, and that is because we are in a relatively quiet period (called the Times of the Gentiles or The Church Age), awaiting the next prophetic event in the Endtimes timeline. Some make the mistake of setting dates, or doing mental gymnastics to try to associate some current event with bible prophecy. Current events must be looked at cautiously. The new site has been edited to offer a more concise look at the Christian Endtimes. The official theological term for the study of Endtimes is Eschatology.

Our Objectives

For first-time visitors, the Endtimes.org project sets out to show the whole framework of Endtimes related bible prophecy by examining relevant bible passages, first from the Old Testament (OT) and then from the Christian New Testament (NT). We don’t do wildly speculative viewpoints here. That may surprise some people, but any speculation of Endtimes details must start with some support of that idea in the Bible. Only then can we try to fit all of the pieces together, rightly dividing the word of truth. There is a big difference between Hollywood Apocalyptic stories (2012, Terminator, The Matrix, the Bible Code) and the kind of communication found in the Bible. The movies are a lot of fun, but the Bible doesn’t present us with secretive mathematical coding to decipher, but a clear warning from God about coming judgement. With plain language pieced together from a book written over a period of 1500 years, we can uncover a consistent biblical story of Endtimes Prophecy. Also noteworthy — the Bible’s version of the apocalypse doesn’t see man as the savior, but God. We live in evil times, but the son of God will come soon in judgment against that evil. As the Apostle Paul wrote to the people in Thessalonica:

For they themselves report about us what kind of a reception we had with you, and how you turned to God from idols to serve a living and true God, 10and to wait for His Son from heaven, whom He raised from the dead, that is Jesus, who rescues us from the wrath to come.

The Rescue from the wrath to come is what this site is all about. The offer of rescue is available now through faith in Jesus Christ. The Endtimes that our site describes is the judgment – the part you don’t want to be around for.

Good News

“For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life.”

In summary, we will explore the following areas with the goal of building an understandable and clear view of the Endtimes:

  • Introduction to Bible Interpretation, Reliability and related foundational subjects
  • Introduction to Dispensational Premillennialism – take courage!
  • The distinction between Israel and the Church, the OT covenants and why that all matters
  • Prophecy in the Jewish Age – relevant writings in the Old Testament Hebrew Scriptures
  • Prophecy in the Church Age – relevant writings in the New Testament Scriptures
  • The Tribulation period and details from the book of Revelation
  • The Rapture and Second coming of Jesus Christ
  • The promised Millennial reign of Jesus on the throne of David.
  • The Final Eternal State in the New Heaven and New Earth

Personal Note

I’ve been working on this new version of Endtimes.org for a few years while doing my day job. This subject has been a passion of mine since I trusted in Jesus Christ in 1981 in college. Confession: I did what many do — I started the Christian life reading the book of Revelation first. We warn people here not to do that, as it may just make you quit before you really get started.

With the huge amount of information and opinion on this site, our intent is always to get things right. There is no possible way that we or anyone else has every little nuance correct when it comes to Bible Prophecy. My commitment is to check and double-check the wording and bible references very carefully, and I will continue adding new details to Endtimes.org to fill any gaps.

(1 Corinthians 3:13)  – the fire itself will test the quality of each man’s work”.

Using the Site

The Endtimes storyline is revealed progressively through the historical books of the Bible. In the same way, our menus are organized from left to right, to introduce the details in the same progressive way. Be sure to read the Introduction and Foundation pages before diving into the Old Testament Themes, called The Jewish Age. Each section may have links to more in-depth articles, resources, or links to other reliable articles not on Endtimes.org.
